GH dentist to give free assistance to uninsured kids
Free dental work is available to uninsured children age 16 or younger at a Grand Haven dentist’s office on Friday. The dental office of Dr. John Leitner, 575 Robbins Road, will give a free cleaning and assistance to children without dental insurance. To make an appointment, call 842-2850.

Dentists offering free care for needy kids
Bergenfield dentists Drs. Mariliza LaCap and Darren Tong will provide a day of free assistance and emergency dental care for underprivileged children as part of National Children’s Dental Health Month.
The program, for youngsters 16 and under and called “Give Kids a Smile,” will be held 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at Washington Dental Associates, 19 Legion Drive, Bergenfield.

Free dental care for Pinellas County kids
PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – An expected 500 children in Pinellas county will receive a free dental screening Friday. Local dentists and dental students are volunteering their time to make it happen. The effort is part of a national program called “Give Kids a Smile.”
Program coordinators expect by Friday morning, some people will still be able to get their children assistance appointments. Free follow-up care, such as fillings, will come later in the month. Dentists offering free services for people who can’t afford dental care
Two dentists’ offices are among others offering free assistance this month for people who don’t have a family dentist.
Small Smiles Dental Center of East Liberty, 5918 Penn Ave., will offer free dental screenings for children during Healthy Smile, Happy Child Day From 9 to 11 a.m. today. Parents who are interested in scheduling an appointment for their child should call 412-361-5437.
David Petti of Plum will be giving free emergency dental treatments for both children and adults between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Feb. 24 in his office at 777 Pine Valley Drive. Dr. Petti’s office can be reached at 724-733-3958.

SV Smiles Family Dentistry to offer free dentistry for children on February 21
In recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Awareness Month, Dr. Scott Leinassar, Dr. Andrea Leinassar and their dental team are offering a day of free dentistry for area children on Monday, February 21.
The fourth year that Smith Valley Smiles Family Dentistry has offered a ‘Give Kids A Smile Day,’ services offered are available to children in Smith Valley, Yerington, Topaz Ranch Estates, Bridgeport, Coleville, and their surrounding areas. The assistance will be offered on Presidents’ Day at the Smith Valley Smiles office at 2311 Highway 208 in Smith.
