Dentist and philanthropist Dr. Jay Grossman founded in 1991 the “Homeless Not Toothless”. Through his private dental office, he has offered free dental services for the homeless in the area of Los Angeles. Ever since opening, the office provided free dental services worth of $2 million.

This year, it is celebrated the 20th anniversary of the humanitarian project, and the office is continuing to raise funds from donations in order to further support the programs and services offered through the project. High profile actors such as Sharon Stone, William H. Macy or authors such as Antwone Fisher work closely to help continuing this wonderful project.

Free Dental Services in Santa Ynez, CA

Starting with May 3rd and up to May the 13th, the Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic together with the Army National Guard will host a free dental clinic for those who lack proper dental insurance. The services that will be offered include: fillings, extractions, dental x-rays, professional teeth cleanings and dental exams.

Free Dental Services: Commencement of Blinn College May 13th

The commencement of Blinn Colege Brenham TX graduates will be held on May 13th, at 8pm. Almost 500 candidates are going to receive their two-year diplomas or one year certificates in different areas of study such as associate in applied science or associate in Arts. Kaci Sowers Hayre, who is a graduating dental hygiene student, will deliver the student message.

She is a very important member of the community, being involved in services leaning projects such as “Give Kids A Smile”. Through this project, only this year more than 80 children received free preventative dental care.

On May 21st, from 9am to 4pm, there will be held the second annual free dental clinic offered by the Associates of Marlborough dentists Dr. Sanjiv Nehra and Dr. Dennis Ahem. The clinic stands to serve under privileged children of the community (those who do not have proper dental insurance). The location of the office is at 222 Bolton St., Marlborough. Dental Services: Free Oral Health Screenings for Women

The Dugoni School of Dentistry San Francisco, N California will hold free oral health screenings on May 12th, between 9am and 1pm. The location of the event is the main clinic. The event will be held as part of the “National Women’s Health Week”. The screening will include a dental exam for checking upon the health of gums and teeth and looking for possible signs of oral cancer. Participants will also receive free toothpaste and toothbrush, and oral health specialists will answer to questions related to oral health issues.
