Dentists to Schedule Free Dental Treatment Clinic

On Saturday, Shenandoah Family Dentistry will hold a free dental clinic, from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

HOT!

Residents from the area of Shenandoah will get one more reason to smile this weekend.

On Saturday, Shenandoah Family Dentistry will hold a free dental clinic, from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

The dental office is located at 118 Blossom Street, and it is important to mention that patients will be seen on a first come first served basis.

The main dental health services offered include free fillings, tooth sealants, and extractions.

The patients will be able to choose one free dental treatment from these, whichever is mostly needed.

Mary Jo Carrell, who is the office manager, says this humanitarian event is a perfect way to give something back to the community, and help people who are in need but cannot afford even basic dental treatments.

She also says that the dental staff will provide free dental treatments to as many patients as possible, up until 3:00pm.

This is already the second annual event of Shenandoah Family Dental, and organizers hope they will see more children at the event.

On the day of the free dental clinic, the staff will offer the kids free professional dental cleanings and tooth sealants to protect them from cavities.

Last year for example, the event saw as many as 118 patients, and some of them even received more than just one free dental treatment.

Carrell sways that children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian for these treatments.

There are no basic eligibility criteria- everyone who needs dental treatment can join the free dental event.
