Dentists to Offer Free Dental Services for Children

Mobile dental unit to provide free dental services to children.

This Saturday, children from Syracuse, New York will have one more reason to smile with free dental services.

The dental van of Colgate Palmolive will be present at the Beauchamp Library and the dental staff will provide free dental services: teeth screenings to children.

The library is located at 2111 S. Salina Street in Syracuse.

The main sponsor of the event is Syracuse Chapter of the Links, Inc., which is a volunteer service.

Besides the free dental screenings, the dentists will also give away plenty of goody bags which will contain important dental hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and other.

It is important to keep in mind that in order for a child to get eligible for the free dental screenings, he/she must present a permission slip that has been signed by one of the parents or legal guardians.

If the child is found needing specialized dental treatment, he/she will be redirected by the dental staff to the Syracuse Community Health Center.
