During the two days of the event, organizers are confident that they will be able to provide free care to about 1,600 patients.

For this event, organizers will transform a building from the State Fair Park into a temporary medical office.

Dentists and other medical specialists from well over 20 states will donate their time and skills in favor of the community.

The free dental services are provided on a first come first served basis, and the staff expects people who are uninsured or those who simply cannot afford to pay for proper medical care, to join the event.

Starting as early as 3:00am on both days, the volunteers from Remote Area Medical will start handing out the numbers.

The free dental clinic will then open its doors at 6:00am.

The exact location of free dental care event is at the North side of the Fair Park (near Space Tower, at the Oklahoma Expo Hall).

Organizers state they are still recruiting for volunteers in the dental and vision care field.

Those who would like to lend a hand can easily sign up online at the Remote Area Medical Oklahoma website.

Currently, according to estimations there are almost 650,000 people in Oklahoma who are uninsured.

Such free dental event is definitely highly welcome.

Even if they will not be able to provide with free dental care all these people, at least they can bring a huge change in the life of so many.
