Low Cost Dental Clinic to Offer Services for Needy

A new low costs clinic will be opening in Jacksonville by the end of the year, with plans to expand throughout the Springfield area.

HOT!

The rising costs of healthcare and the cutting of dental insurance by many companies has made it a nightmare for many people to even consider going to the dentist, even if people are in severe pain.

Well, for the people of Jacksonville, Illinois things are going to become much easier. Why?

A new low costs dental clinic will be opening in Jacksonville by the end of the year, with plans to expand throughout the Springfield area.

The Central Counties Health Centers organization, which is a not-for-profit organization, will be operating and managing this facility.

This low cost dental center will be a full service center, which means that it will be able to provide all of the services that a regular dental office can provide.

Most patients can expect to pay around $20 for most services.

Compared to the cost of dental care at a dentist’s office without insurance, this center will offer truly affordable dental care.

However, the only services offered at first will be medical services, with dental services not being offered until six months after the site opens.

This is great news for the people of Jacksonville.

Currently, the only care for many uninsured or low income households is from a clinic in Passavant that only offers its services to them one night per week, which doesn’t even come close to meeting the demand or need.

This new low cost dental clinic will help take the pressure off of the Passavant clinic and hopefully provide services to over 2,500 people a year to start.
