Madison, Wisconsin will see the largest Mission of Mercy free dental event on June 29 and 30, 2012.

1,500 Volunteers
$1.75 million in free dental care
Volunteers from 222 communities joining forces for a noble cause

According to estimations, free dental care will be provided to approximately 3,000 children and adults and there will be $1.75 million worth of free dental care offered. This is the fourth WDA Foundation Mission of Mercy and Wisconsin Dental Association event.

Organizers can proudly say that this is going to be the largest ever free dental clinic held in the USA. Among the free dental treatments offered there will be dental fillings, extractions, professional dental cleanings, and even partial dentures will be offered.

Such humanitarian events are extremely welcome, mainly because there are too many people nowadays struggling with untreated dental problems. They simply cannot afford to pay even for basic dental care, so such events are indeed very important to them.

The exact location of the event is at the Alliant Energy Center- in the Exhibition Hall at 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way. The doors will open as early as 5:30 on both days.

There will be no appointments required and patients will receive the free dental care on a first come first served basis. Those who would like to have access to free care should definitely arrive early at the location.

Those who are eligible include both children and adults who cannot afford dental services because of financial constraints. Remember that SSN identification is requested; however, there will be no photo identification required.

What is the most amazing about such events, is that organizations and individuals start making donations to help purchasing all the necessary for the clinic. There is plenty of equipment needed, there is the facility rental fee, and there are the pharmaceuticals and the dental equipment needed.

Ever since 2009, the WDA Mission of Mercy has offered well over $2.8 million in free care of which benefited about 5,600 patients.
