Any cut inside the mouth such as in the cheeks, tongue, gums and lips can lead to bleeding. In order to reduce the bleeding, gargle using a salt-water solution and apply some cold compresses. If this doesn’t reduce the bleeding, go to the nearest emergency dentist.
