Question

I got my tooth out last Monday but have woken up this morning with .. well its like toothache but in the socket. I have rinsed with salty water but its really sore. Has anyone else had this?

Sounds like you may have an infection as another aber pointed out.
If your face begins to swell then it could be an abscess. If the pain gets to much call dentist as soon as possible as you may need antibiotics.
