Whitening strips can work, but there are a few things that you need to remember.
1. Food and beverages have ‘tannins’ which cause tooth discoloration. The biggest culprit to this is smoking. Make sure you keep dark beverages to a minimum.
2. The safest way for you to get whiter teeth is to purchase a Sonicare … take that stain away from the inside out rather than the outside in.
3. Avoid Crest Whitestrips: They irritate the gum tissue (which is the last thing in the world you want to do)
4. Like someone else had mentioned, I would go for a whitening gel or something else that you can paint directly on the teeth.
5. If they become sensitive, back off a little bit. Use fluoride! Something like ACT is your best bet. Avoid Listerine at all costs.
Good luck to you, and remember that more whitening gel will not make your teeth whiter, it will just irritate your gums.
