I have narrow teeth any advice on veneers?
Question
My teeth have always bothered me… they are straight, but are very narrow… my gums are fine but the width of my teeth isn’t… do dentists always have to use dental braces before placing veneers? Do dental veneers ruin your teeth? Ok, one more do you have to get them on all your teeth or can they just be on some?
Answer
You don’t necessarily need braces before having veneers. In fact, some people generally get veneers because they don’t want braces.
And you could say veneers are taking away part of your teeth that could cause permanent damage of sensitivity if you were to have your veneers removed, but who would do that? That’s why its like saying you are wanting this change in your teeth for the rest of your life. You may have to have them redone every 15 years or so. Depending on your care for your veneers.
And no, you definitely don’t have to get them on all your teeth, you can choose wherever you’d like to have them placed.
