Positive Negative

There are a few home remedies to treat dental abscess but they are not surely the ones that might completely rule out the problem. One of the effective ones would be using stuff that helps in pulling out the pus from the abscess area.

Using a dry tea bag or a piece of potato would be helpful in draining out the contents of abscess if kept for a few hours. This would also help in reducing a pain to a tolerable state.

Another way is using digital pressure i.e. your fingers pushing the pus out of the abscess from the gaps between the gums and teeth, but this is a little risky thing, as excess pressure might push the same into the deeper tissues, making the infection more severe.

But you can’t rely on this, and in the end you need to reach the dental office because the remedy you are trying won’t drain out the entire contents of the abscess and a little of it can again help in causing the infection of the tooth and abscess.

Visiting a dentist is must for any infection, so that they can make you get started with a certain antibiotic therapy to reduce that infection.
