IDAHO FALLS – The line started in the middle of the night outside of Park West Dental, people waited covered in blankets for the doors to open so they could receive their free dental care. Dentistry from the heart is a program completely funded by the dentist at Park West. I wanted to know why they would go to such great lengths to helps others?

More than 100 people show up to have free dental care they desperately needed and wouldn’t have been able to receive otherwise.

Dental hospitals offer free cancer check-ups

Two dental hospitals in Dublin and Cork are offering patients free mouth examinations on Wednesday to improve awareness of head, neck and mouth cancer.

There are over 500,00 cases per year of mouth, head or neck cancer, with three people dying each week in Ireland

Free Dental Day draws 300 seeking care

Whitehall — A truly mind blowing experience, is how Dr. Elias Achey described the White Lake Family Dentistry Free Dental Day on Sept. 18.

Achey, owner of White Lake Family Dentistry, said his practice was visited by approximately 300 people seeking free dental care, with most of them in serious pain and in need of emergency service.

Schwarzenegger allows out-of-state volunteers at free health and dental clinics

The free health dental clinics that have filled stadiums across the nation got a big boost in California on Friday when Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a bill allowing out-of-state health workers to volunteer here.

The bill will benefit Remote Area Medical, a group that was formed to provide health care outside of the U.S. but found incredible domestic demand from the uninsured.

Hundreds Line Up for Free Dental Care

HAWLEY, WAYNE COUNTY — Hundreds of people turned out for a free event Saturday in the Poconos. The Horizon Dental Care office in Hawley took part in the Dentistry from the Heart event.

Doctors and hygienists offered cleanings, extractions and fillings to the public for free. This is the sixth year the office has participated in the event.
