A Mission To Help Tulsa’s Smiles

The Oklahoman Mission of Mercy, coming February 5th and 6th, will offer free dental services to the first 800 people admitted each of the days.

Doors of the Tulsa Convention Center will open both days at 5AM.

No fees or pre-registration is necessary, according to the Mission of Mercy Web site. Around 90 dentists will volunteer their free dental services.

Dental clinics to take part in ‘Give Kids a Smile’ program

Main Street Dental Clinics will provide free dental care to children on Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Blooming Prairie location. People interested in scheduling an appointment may call the dental office at (507) 583-2141 and ask to schedule for “Give Kids a Smile.”

Main Street Dental Clinics are joining dental volunteers in other communities that are committed to providing access to quality dental care for all children. The program, “Give Kids a Smile,” is coordinated by the Minnesota Dental Association and has provided free dental care to more than 3 million children.

Kids can get free preventative dental care in February

AVON PARK – South Florida Community College’s Dental Education program is celebrating National Children’s Dental Health Month by offering free preventive health care to children ages 3-6 every Thursday in February. Services will be delivered at the SFCC Dental Clinic on the Highlands Campus.

Dental hygiene students in their final term of study will clean teeth, administer fluoride treatments, check for signs of oral disease, and take X-rays if required.

A little about myself, I am on my 2nd year as Dental Hygiene student looking for patients for my final semester. All the services that we offer at our school are Free because we are a teaching facility. There are some criteria’s that must be meet for our school. You have to have at least 20 teeth in your mouth. 5 Teeth per quadrant/section of your mouth and there are 4 sections total in everyone’s mouth.

All the services I offer is free…..that means you are saving yourself over $1000+ elsewhere. Free deep cleaning, free x-rays, and exam. You do pay with your time and need to be RELIABLE for the appointments.

  1. I also forgot to mention the botox injections were not cosmetic they were for a injury due to car accident to control pain in my head neck jaw and spine,after the Dr realized what had happened he dropped me as a patient.
