Dental clinic gives hands-on experience

Surprisingly, the West View Elementary school newsletter gave her the answer — a free dental clinic. Ten local dentists volunteer their time and rotate Friday shifts.

Now in his second year of dental studies at the career center, he’s one of the students who helps dentists with the free Friday afternoon clinic.

Free Dental Clinic Scheduled For Independence

A free dental clinic will be held in Independence, Kansas later this week. The Kansas Mission of Mercy event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Independence Community College West Campus, 2505 W. Main.

Kansas dental professionals will provide extractions, cleanings and fillings on a first come, first served basis. Doors will open at 5:30 a.m. This is the ninth Mission of Mercy event. The projecty has provided dental care for more than 16,000 patients.

Mouth-check dentist on tour

A MOBILE dental unit will tour Redcar and Cleveland this week in a bid to help patients spot the early signs of mouth cancer.

The free dental check-ups aim to spot signs of mouth cancer early, make people aware of the signs and symptoms of oral cancer and encourage people to attend regular dentist check ups.

Madison Dental Group offers free oral cancer exams April 15

MADISON ‑ In support of Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week, the Madison Dental Group, the office of Dr. Samuel Romano and Dr. Allison Adams, will hold an “open house” from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at 120 Park Ave.

Free oral cancer exams will be performed for anyone 22 and older. No appointment is necessary.

Two dentists offer free services to adults on May 1

On Saturday, May 1, Drs. Ruda & DeAngelis will provide free dentistry for adults as part of Dentistry From The Heart. The dental volunteers will provide examinations, digital x-rays, blood pressure and oral cancer screenings, and a choice of an extraction, filling or cleaning to people ages 18 and up who show up at the Middletown practice.

Volunteer to participate in WA State Dental Licensing Examination and receive FREE Dental Care

If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while this is a great way to get a free checkup, and help a graduating dental student. I am currently looking for patients to screen for my dental licensing examination. I will provide FREE X-rays and exam. If you qualify as a boards patient, I will provide FREE cleaning or FREE tooth filling. I will also compensate you $100 for participating.

Health care awareness project in E. Province

AL KHOBAR – A health care awareness project that provides free medical, dental and eye checkups to the Indian community in the Eastern Province will be launched here on April 30 at the Mohammad Dossary Hospital.
