North Carolina clinic provides free dental health presentations to local youth

To help celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month, representatives from the North Carolina-based clinic Cary Family Dental delivered free presentations to elementary schools across the state over the last few weeks to help education children on the importance of proper dental care.

Free medical and dental care clinic at South Florida Fairgrounds canceled

Plans for a two-day clinic in Palm Beach County with free medical and dental care have been called off after organizers failed to get enough dentists to volunteer at the event.

Remote Area Medical, which organizes similar clinics around the country to help people without health care insurance, announced Tuesday that the clinic scheduled for April 10-11 at the South Florida Fairgrounds has been canceled. The organization said Steve Kaplan, a Delray Beach volunteer charged with recruiting volunteers, had not been able to enlist enough dental and vision professionals despite his “considerable efforts.”

Caldwell Clinic Provides Free Health and Dental Care

On Wednesday the Terry Reilly Clinic in Caldwell opened its doors to a new clinic that will help struggling families get the medical care they need and it’s all free. Many workers that are working today are not getting paid. Doctors, nurses, and health care workers are donating their time and skills to the Canyon County Community Clinic. “We’re basically providing basic primary services so just be able to see a physician and we hope to expand to dental services and we also have access to specially care,” said the Canyon County Community Clinic Vice Chairman Rick Tivis.

Free Dental Treatment (Kansas City) Looking for dental board patient. If you have qualified dental works needed to be done like deep cleaning or simple filling you might get free treatment.

They should not have any emergent dental care needed. They must not have uncontrolled hypertension, no need to have antibiotic prophylaxis, no bisphosphonates taken, no type I diabetes, no heat attack, stoke or cardiac surgery within the past six months, no acitve tuberculosis, no latex allergy, no HIV positive, not pregnant.

The candidate needs to come to UMKC dental school for board screening. Candidates who have not received dental care for long time and already have lots of calculus/tars accumulated around their teeth are preferred.

Bergenfield dentists provided care for needy

Dr. Mariliza LaCap and her husband, Dr. Darren Tong, of Washington Dental Associates in Bergenfield provided a day of free preventive and emergency dental care for children ages 12 and under, who did not have access elsewhere due to financial reasons. The children who came to the office received home-baked cookies, oral hygiene instruction, a cleaning, fluoride treatment and free dentistry.
