To be eligible for the Fulton County program, residents must not have dental insurance and must meet income guidelines. Lewis said the guidelines are similar to those for free or reduced lunch at school. “And the program includes more than just cleaning and filling. We provide x-rays, cleaning, crowns, examinations,” she said.

The children’s program is for kids age one through high school age. Fulton county offers other reduced fee services for adults. The fees for adults or for kids who don’t qualify for nearly-free dental care are set on a sliding scale.
