Dental clinic organizers expect heavy demand
Lines of people eager for dental work are expected to form in the wee hours of the morning Friday.
The Mission of Mercy free dental clinic scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Roanoke Special Events Center at the Roanoke Civic Center is expected to help about 1,100 people who would otherwise not have access to dental care.
More than 700 volunteers will be on hand to help run the clinic. That includes almost 100 dentists, about 60 dental hygienists and approximately 95 dental assistants, said Pat Young, project manager for the clinic.

Free dental services are offered on April 10
On Saturday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Rauchberg Dental Group, located at 199 Baldwin Road in Parsippany, will host its first “Dentistry from the Heart” event. The dentists will provide a day of free dental care for the first 50 people with completed paperwork by 10 a.m., in financial need.
Appointments are not being taken for that event. All patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nonprofits, county help open free clinic
Ottawa County, MI — Ottawa County will soon have a new free health clinic thanks to collaboration between the county, City on a Hill in Zeeland and Love INC of the Tri-Cities.
The clinic is expected to open this spring at Ottawa County Health Department’s Grand Haven Township location. It will serve uninsured adults to start, with hopes of expanding to dental and other areas.

Free dental sealant clinic for kids this weekend
The IUSB Dental Hygiene School is hosting a sealant clinic on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon on campus at 1960 Northside Blvd. for kids ages 6-14.

Miramar residents can get free dental care through May 24
The City of Miramar is happy to announce its partnership with Nova Southeastern University. The College of Dental Medicine will be providing free, basic dental services to City of Miramar residents at the City of Miramar Multi-Service Complex, located at 6700 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, FL 33025. Marlborough dentist offers free cleanings for uninsured children
MARLBOROUGH — Dr. Sanjiv Nehra and his staff at Dental Associates of Marlborough will hold a free dental clinic on April 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to provide cleanings for local children without dental insurance.
Nehra encourages parents to make an appointment for a 50-minute cleaning and educational session to promote good dental hygiene at a young age.

Free Dental Clinic in North Little Rock
Lakewood Dental Clinic will provide free treatment on Friday, April 9, to adults who don’t have access to regular dental care. The clinic’s Dentistry From the Heart program will treat adult patients from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lakewood Dental’s office located at 2411 McCain Blvd. in North Little Rock.
This is the second annual Dentistry From the Heart program at Lakewood Dental. Last year, the clinic’s staff treated more than 120 patients and donated about $50,000 in services.

Free medical clinic to return to Los Angeles area in April
