Mobile Dental Clinic Travels Miles to Improve NWA Kids’ Smiles
Many Northwest Arkansas children will get their first glimpse of a dentist’s chair when the new Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®, the area’s first mobile dental clinic, comes to their schools. The mobile clinic was unveiled at an event today at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, where officials spoke about the need for access to quality dental care for children and the barriers to overall health and learning that dental disease can cause. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® is a project of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC®) of Arkoma, and RMHC® representatives were joined by officials from its corporate partners Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Delta Dental of Arkansas and Tyson Foods, Inc. ( TSN).

Waiting List for Tenderloin Free Dental Clinic
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — Without insurance, visiting the dentist is an easy thing to put off.
Some on the waiting list to get inside the Tooth Mobile parked outside Glide Memorial Church probably weren’t looking forward to what awaited inside.
But no one was complaining about access to free dental care in neighborhood where people often go years without getting their teeth checked.

County rents out old health building for dental screenings
Limestone County Schools will soon begin screening students for dental and vision problems at the old health department building on West Elm Street.
Monday, the Limestone County Commission signed a lease agreement with Sarrell Regional Dental and Eye Centers for Public Health Inc. for $1 per year.

Amid flood of new patients, dental clinic seeks volunteers
The waiting list at the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic has been getting longer in recent months. As the nation’s economic woes persist, staff members say requests for services continue to mount at the 23-year-old nonprofit.
Last year alone, the clinic, which provides low-cost dental care to low-income adults in Bexar County, had 24,000 patient visits for more than 7,000 clients, nearly half of whom were elderly and on fixed incomes.

Local Dentist And Staff Give Free Dental Work
On December 18th Dentist Tesa Reeves and staff are hosting their first annual Dentistry from the Heart event. This event is a free dentistry event for anyone who needs dental work.
This is a way Dr Reeves and her staff can give back to their community and treat as many patients as they can during the day. They are anticipating two dentists and two dental hygienists taking part in this event which will give away thousands of dollars worth of free dental care.
