Free Health Care Clinic Planned In ClevelandCLEVELAND – A free health and dental care clinic will be held next month in Cleveland.
The third MedWorks free clinic will take place May 1to 2 at The Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland , located at 12201 Euclid Ave.
In addition to medical, dental and vision appointments, patients will be ale to speak with social workers. The clinic will also include educational lectures and speakers, as well as resource tables staffed by community organizations including safety net providers, financial counselors and the Ohio Benefits Bank.

Free health clinic in L.A. looking for more volunteers
Organizers of a free health care clinic expected to attract thousands of people in need of medical and dental treatment called today for more volunteers for the weeklong event at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
RAM hopes to provide free medical, dental or vision care to as many as 1,200 people per day, according to Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, a vocal supporter of the organization’s efforts.

New dental clinic is a community effort
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Healthy Smiles Community Oral Health Center was dedicated on Tuesday morning to those who were instrumental in getting a dental clinic in the Eastern Panhandle.
The 2,500-square-foot clinic on Warm Springs Drive in the north end of Martinsburg opened in early December and is available to everyone. The center takes patients with dental insurance, the state’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHiP) and Medicaid. It offers a sliding fee for patients without insurance, said Dave Fant, executive director of Shenandoah Community Health, which oversees Healthy Smiles.

Free Health Expo for the Uninsured
A free health expo for the uninsured is being held on Friday, April 23, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Ambassador Room at Cobo Hall in Detroit.
The event features free health screenings, Head Start, mental health services, diabetes screening, dental screening, HIV/AIDS-STD testing and Medicaid enrollment. Certain programs may require picture identification, Social Security or income information.

Molina sponsors kids’ dental screenings
Wilmington. Molina Medical Group will sponsor free dental screenings for infants, children and adolescents Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Molina Medical office at 1703 N. Avalon Blvd. in Wilmington.
To provide the free dental services to the community, Molina is sponsoring a team from the Long Beach Children’s Dental Clinic. Youngsters attending the event will not only receive dental screenings but also fluoride varnish, flossing demonstration, education, oral health kits and screening results and referral information will be given to parents.

Professionals Needed: L.A. Free Health Care Clinic
More volunteers are needed for a free health care clinic in Los Angeles which is expected to attract thousands of people in need of medical and dental treatment.
Organizers are looking for more dentists, dental hygienists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians and triage nurses to help staff 40 medical exam rooms, 100 dental chairs and 30 vision lanes at the event.
The clinic will be held at the Los Angeles Sports Arena April 27th to May 3rd.
