Free dental care offered for kids

Caring Hands Dental Clinic in Alexandria is participating in “Give Kids a Smile Day” on February 5.

This special day is a statewide program through the Minnesota Dental Association (MDA). Hundreds of dental clinics, both non-profit and regular, open their doors to provide free dental care to kids ages 6 through 18.

Free Dental Care Event for Children

KUSA – Give Kids a Smile Day is a day of free dental care, treatment and education for kids on Friday, Feb. 5.

Give Kids a Smile Day is an oral health outreach program that results in FREE dental treatment and education for hundreds of thousands of underserved children each year.

Last year, $38 million in dental services was donated through the American Dental Association’s national efforts.

Dentist to offer one day of free dental care to needy residents

Los Gatos dentist Dr. Richard Evans is offering a day of free dental care for residents who have fallen on hard times.

Appointments must be made in advance by calling 408.371.4050 or visiting www.drrichardevans.com. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Evans’ free service day is scheduled for Jan. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at his office at 14501 S. Bascom Ave.

Free Dental Care for Children: Exams Offered In Alamance County

Burlington, NC — The 5th Annual ‘Give Kids A Smile’ program will take place on February 6 in Burlington.

Appointments are now being taken for free limited dental exams, cleaning, fluoride and sealants. The clinic will take place from 8am to 1pm at the Alamance County Children’s Dental Center at 1914 McKinney Street.

Dental School Hosts Annual Free Dental Care Day

The public is invited to a free dental exam, X-rays and teeth cleaning on Saturday, Jan. 30, during Prophy Day at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, at Cornell Road and Emergency Drive (University Hospitals of Cleveland). No appointment is needed for the first-come, first-served exams from 9 a.m. to noon.

Walk-in patients must be 18 years or older, not a current patient or someone with full dentures.

The dental exam includes X-rays and cleanings during the volunteer service day organized by dental students from the school’s Student Council.

Free dental care event aims to mitigate gaps in insurance coverage

A group of Minnesota dentists announced this month that it will provide free dental care in February to children whose families cannot afford dental insurance.

The Minnesota Dental Association, which represents 81 percent of all dentists in the state, will visit almost 200 locations across the North Star State on February 5 and 6, InsuranceCorner.com reports.
