Happy Smiles Dental Clinic

MEDFORD- The “Happy Smiles” program is working to make healthy smiles this week.

La Clinica is holding a free dental clinic Thursday and Friday at St. Vincent de Paul.

Happy smiles works to prevent dental problems, offering cleaning and screening.

The group says there are 3,000 people on a waiting list for services.

La Clinica offering free dental care to children

MEDFORD, Ore. – La Clinica in Medford is providing free dental care for children from low-income households this week.

With the help of St. Vincent de Paul and six volunteer dentists, La Clinica is offering fillings, extractions, sealants and cleanings.

La Clinica says it served about 25 to 30 kids Thursday, and will be open again Friday. It will take place at St. Vincent de Paul from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Free Medical, Dental and Vision Care

Free Medical, Dental and Vision Care Clinic Comes to Inglewood

Remote Area Medical will provide free medical, dental and vision care to thousands of needy individuals in the Los Angeles area. The free clinic will be held at the Forum in Inglewood, and will treat an estimated 1,200 people a day – possibly more depending on the final number of volunteers and participating organizations. The clinic days will be held August 11th through August 18, 2009.
