Patients from the town of Temuka, New Zealand have to wait for months until they can get an appointment at the dentist’s.

According to recent reports, the town’s Providential Dental Surgery office cannot accept any new patients right now.

Moreover, the surgery office of Tony Page is fully booked till the middle of June.

Patients are getting more and more intrigued by this little chaos, since they cannot get a proper appointment at a dental office.

There is an extreme report according to which citizen Stephan Gamblin had to wait six years in order to get an appointment.

He is suffering from complex dental problems since he was a child, and he needs to have all of his teeth extracted.

When he finally got access to emergency treatment, the doctors were of no help, reports Mrs. Gamblin.

The dentists indeed have extracted one tooth, but when Mr. Gamblin’s tooth showed signs of abscess, the doctors said they cannot be of further help since he is not a regular patient of theirs.

Next, Doctor Tony Page had extracted two more teeth and further referred the patient to a hospital. Currently, Mr. Gamblin waits for another appointment. The couple paid on an average $200 for an emergency appointment.

This and many other cases in the town of Temuka should pull a signal of alarm for the Government, since oral health care is currently at an impasse.
